This early brick Kopperl School house was built in 1913 at the current school site. It stood and was used until 1954 when it was torn down. The bricks from this building were used to build the current red brick school building where the library is located.

This photograph taken in front of the Alamo is of an early duke and duchess. I am not certain of the year.
